about
Duccio Conti Caponi is an architect and interior decorator with a degree in Architecture Sciences from the University of Florence and in Interior Design from the University of Brighton. His career begins in London, where he collaborates with designer Eric Egan at the prestigious studio L’Artigianato di Milano. In 2016, he founded Duccio Conti Caponi Studio, initially specializing in the design of lamps and furniture items.
In 2017, after returning to Florence, Duccio took over Casa Wolf, an antique gallery founded by his father, transforming it into Conti Caponi Gallery. This evolution allowed for structuring the activities into two distinct branches: an architecture and interior design studio and an art gallery. The Gallery, featuring an exhibition space and an online presence, focuses on antique furnishings and Old Masters paintings, elevating the quality of offerings compared to Casa Wolf.
The studio primarily focuses on renovations and interior design, executing residential projects in Italy and abroad, as well as commercial spaces for luxury brands. DCCS stands out for its attention to the reinterpretation of historic spaces, integrating advanced technology discreetly into the furnishings.
The design philosophy of DCCS draws inspiration from all past decorative styles, creatively reinterpreting forms and furnishings according to client needs. The studio is supported by a valuable in-house team of specialized artisans, including carpenters, bronze craftsmen, decorators, and restorers, each an expert in their field.
The in-house foundry allows for the creation of custom-made objects, such as lamps and personalized accessories. DCCS also offers consulting services for fabrics, trimmings, and niche wallpapers. Furthermore, a project has been launched in collaboration with the family business Loretta Caponi for a custom collection of lampshades and curtains.
Duccio Conti Caponi Studio is committed to fulfilling every client desire, directly managing the entire realization process. Each project is overseen by a studio project manager who ensures effective management of works.
